Italy has always had a romantic and historical wonder through the centuries. Scenes of Italy presents recently photographed location images of Italy. Travel agencies, Italian themed restaurants, and interior designers have purchased the images for decorating and advertising.  The photographer is Frank Simonetti who learned photography from his father and went on to study at the Art Institute of Boston. He is represented internationally by several stock photo agencies that market his work for advertising, editorial and educational purposes.

Currently, the following galleries are available to view, Ravello, Rome, Florence, Painterly, Culinary and Amalfi. Some of the images of Italy images have been recreated into a painterly effect by the photographer. The images of Italy look wonderful on canvas and on watercolor paper. The finished images of Italy represent very closely the original digital images as I captured them. Other than my work on the painterly images, there is no digital manipulation to the images beyond traditional darkroom techniques such as color correction, dodging and burning.
